Network Registration Request

New devices that require wired (Ethernet-enabled) Internet access need to register for MIT's DHCP service. If you will need the device to be remotely accessible (for example, if you're setting up a server), you might want to register the device for a static IP address instead.

On most computers that have a browser, the process can be done by the user at the network registration page (see our Knowledge Base article). However, there are a number of browser-less devices (video game consoles, voice over IP phones, internet connected TVs, etc) that cannot use the web based registration process at MIT. Fill in the information below and we can register such a device manually for you.

More information about DHCP is available on our Knowledge Base article DHCP Service at MIT.
